Your typical day could start with ensuring our estates are clean, safe, and well-maintained. You might be carrying out general horticultural maintenance, such as weeding, pruning, and minor grounds activities, before moving on to tasks like litter picking, graffiti removal, and bulk waste clearance. Throughout the day, you'll work alongside colleagues to provide a high-quality, customer-focused environmental service.

As an Environmental Operative, you’ll play a key role in maintaining our estates, ensuring that residents have a clean and welcoming environment. You'll work proactively to deliver excellent estate services, taking pride in your work and demonstrating a strong commitment to the community.

You’re a hands-on person who enjoys working outdoors in all weather conditions. You take pride in keeping spaces clean and well-maintained, and you’re great at working as part of a team to get things done. To be successful in this role, you’ll need to be on site five days a week.

Your role covers all aspects of environmental services and grounds maintenance. If you have experience in horticulture, estate cleaning, or environmental services, we’d love to hear from you.

  • Able to work in all weather conditions in an outdoor environment.

  • Knowledgeable about health and safety regulations in relation to estate services.

  • Comfortable using hand tools and mechanical horticultural appliances.
