Refurbishment specialists Mulalley recently finished installing kitchens and bathrooms in their 200th home for Peabody. The milestone was marked with a small celebration, with the 200th resident, Chanelle, receiving flowers and a voucher.

Chanelle said: “What a great transformation Mulalley made installing my new kitchen. I’m absolutely loving my new bathroom and toilet facilities too. The construction team were tidy and efficient, and the work was all completed to a high standard.”

The project is part of Peabody’s ongoing commitment to improving homes and services for residents. Last year, the not-for-profit housing association spent £430 million maintaining and upgrading residents’ homes. It’s working with specialist contractors in each of its regions to deliver a range of improvements. Mulalley is Peabody’s partner for south London.

Simon Jones, senior project manager from Peabody’s asset investment team, said: “A new kitchen or bathroom can make a real difference to everyday life, and we’re pleased to see this work progressing well and getting so much positive feedback from residents. We’re listening to residents and making lasting improvements where they matter most – and our rolling programme of home improvements is a big part of that.”
