We’re listening to residents so we can address the issues that really matter to them. And so we can help create vibrant, inclusive homes and communities people want to live in.

Our local model means we’re able to tailor our services to our residents.

We’re focusing on these key areas:

Tackling inequality

Residents save a combined £621m a year thanks to low rents. And as we improve the energy efficiency of our homes, they save on heating too. We’ve also introduced an online reporting system, so that issues such as damp and mould can be dealt with without delay.

Embedding wellbeing

We help our residents deal with anything and everything that could affect their emotional, physical or mental wellbeing. They could be work difficulties or personal problems. Our network of programmes and support helps people to get back on their feet, increase their resilience and succeed.

Working in partnership

We work with residents, local authorities, contractors, NHS trusts and other organisations. We want our partners to share our values. So we’ve introduced a social purpose requirement into our procurement process, where 20 percent of any tender needs to add value to the community.
