Air Ambulances UK is the national charity that supports the lifesaving work of the UK’s air ambulance charities, enabling them to save even more lives every day.

Air ambulance crews bring the emergency department to patients who have suffered a life threatening or life changing trauma or medical emergency – providing advanced critical care to save lives.

On average, an air ambulance can reach someone in urgent need within 15 minutes. Anyone, anywhere in the UK can become a patient at any time.

Air ambulance missions’ cost on average between £2,500 and £3,000 and are funded almost entirely by the generosity of the public.

Each Christmas, Catalyst employees nominate and vote for the charity they would like the organisation to support in the coming year. In 2021, colleagues raised £1,950 for The Sick Children’s Trust through a series of organised fund-raising activities and individual donations.

Head of Fundraising and Sustainability at Air Ambulances UK, Emma Carter, said: “We are thrilled that Catalyst Housing staff voted to support us as their charity partner for 2022. The money raised will help air ambulance charities across the UK save even more lives. We look forward to working with Catalyst Housing during 2022!”
