Peabody Academy moves into its new home
We have officially opened the new home of the Peabody Academy at The Mews - a Peabody-owned building behind our head office in London.
Published: 17/02/2026
The Academy supports learning across our organisation, including apprenticeships, graduate routes, leadership and management programmes, and professional development.
The building has been transformed from an under-used storage space into a dedicated learning environment. It includes two training rooms, smaller spaces for online learning, and a shared knowledge café designed for quiet study, conversation and reflection.
Speaking at our Apprenticeship Awards on Wednesday 11 February, the same day as the official opening, our Chair Caroline Corby said the Academy’s growth reflects the increasing importance of learning and development at Peabody and across the housing sector.
“The Academy is no longer something we are starting to build - it is firmly part of the organisation,” she said.
“Through recognised pathways, higher standards and a focus on quality, learning helps professionalise the sector and support better services for residents.
“It succeeds because of the people behind it - colleagues, managers, partners and learners working together.”
