Pam was a respected and influential figure in the housing sector, who served on various boards and committees throughout her career. She was awarded an OBE for her services to housing and the community in 2008 and was named one of the 100 most powerful women in the UK by Woman's Hour on BBC Radio 4.

Pam's visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to improving the lives of Peabody residents had a long-lasting impact on our organisation and the communities we serve. During her time as Chair, Pam initiated several ground-breaking projects aimed at enhancing the quality of life for Peabody residents.

This includes 21st Century Peabody, which aimed to transform our estates into sustainable communities through extensive research and consultation with residents, councils, and other stakeholders to identify key issues and find solutions. The 21st Century Peabody publication and project were widely regarded as an innovative approach to housing and continue to inspire the development of sustainable communities today.

Pam's legacy lives on, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Our thoughts are with her family and loved ones during this difficult time.
