Here at Peabody, we have an opportunity for a Senior Repairs Support Officer on a Permanent basis at our Westminster Bridge Road office.

A bit about the role:

As a Senior Support Officer within the newly formed Repairs Team, you will manage a team of Support Officer who will be an integral part of the delivery of Peabody’s repairs, maintenance and property services.

Working within our centralised support team, and reporting into the Delivery Support Manager, you will be responsible for the back office and administrative support to the operational teams delivering day-to-day & major repairs, planned preventative maintenance, resident improvements, professional services etc.

You will and work closely and collaboratively with colleagues, stakeholders and customers across Peabody, driving improvements and offering a first-class service to our customers.

You will be organised, accountable and customer focused, ensuring the services we provide offer value for money, are of good quality and are aligned with our values and objectives.

Some of the key results for the role include:

  • Effectively and proactively lead, manage and motivate the team ensuring that there is a culture of high performance, strong engagement and a commitment to continual improvement.

  • Be a customer facing member of the team, supporting our customers and operational teams in the delivery of property services.

  • Ensure our customers are regularly and clearly communicated with, kept up to date on progress and their expectations managed.

  • Monitoring progress of works with special emphasis on works in progress liaising with the supply chain to ensure works are completed in target, raising works orders for the supply chain, monitor outcomes and completion targets.

  • Ensure suitable filing and recording systems are in place, and that information is accessible for all.

A minimum of 1 to 2 days working in the Westminster Bridge Road office is required.
