What we’re looking for:

  • Do you have the following qualifications or equivalent? ASC qualifications (and reassessment) - minimum of CCN1, CEN1, WAT1, (CENWAT), CKR1 & CPA1, HTR1.

  • Do you have up to date knowledge of gas legislation and technical bulletins?

  • Do you have up to date knowledge of Health and Safety and other legislation relevant to the role?

  • Have you completed a reassessment, and gas safe business audit?

  • Are you able to effectively lead and manage a high performing team?

  • Do you have a full UK driving license?

Here at Peabody, we have an opportunity for a Gas Supervisor / Auditor on a Permanent basis at our Walthamstow office.

A bit about the role:

As a Gas Supervisor / Auditor, you will be an integral part of the DLO which delivers property services to specific regions of Peabody.

You will be responsible for a team delivering gas installations, servicing, repairs and maintenance, providing technical and practical support. You will work closely and collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders across Peabody to drive improvements and offer a first-class service to our customers.

Some of the key results for the role include:

  • Monitoring engineer’s performance and their time management through the management information available, engineer KPI’s, part usage and management, resource and labour costs and advise on resource planning
  • Ensuring all certification and documentation is completed accurately.
  • Regular monitoring of first time fix and call back rates to ensure standards and service levels are maintained.
  • Carrying out calculations associated with gas works to be completed along with the dissemination and relation of manufacturer’s instructions and or gas safe regulations.
  • Advising members of the Gas Team on work in progress, servicing, general repair/maintenance, breakdowns of gas appliances and central heating systems, in accordance with manufacturer’s instruction and Gas Safe regulations.

Monday to Friday working in the Walthamstow office is required.
