Here at Peabody, we have an opportunity for a Senior Gardener on a Permanent basis at our site in Thamesmead.

A bit about the role:

As a Senior Gardener, you will look after newly landscaped assets within housing stock, insuring high standards of skilled gardening in our herbaceous borders, Hedgerows and lawn areas. This will cover all aspect of general gardening. some of the key results for the role include:

  • To carry out horticultural maintenance including, grass cutting, planting, weeding and formative pruning and management of a wide range of landscape types.
  • To maintain water features.
  • To check and maintain play.
  • To remove graffiti.
  • To ensure that paths are salted.
  • To wear all Personal Protective Equipment and uniform provided by the organisation.
  • To establish, develop and maintain effective working relationships with all work colleagues and tenants to ensure an integrated contribution to the organisation’s objectives.
  • To take a proactive role in the positive resolution of complaints.

This role will require a Basic DBS check and a UK driver’s licence.
