But the decisions about building more much-needed new homes are getting tougher in the face of multiple housing crises.

In a city where one child in every classroom is homeless, we absolutely must build more social homes. And we can build more – if we work together to address some of the issues preventing us expanding our homebuilding programmes.

We’ve been part of the London Housing Delivery Taskforce, and with partners, are all calling for urgent action from the government.

With the group, we’ve put forward 29 recommendations that would remove some of the barriers we’re facing, and we’re ready to work together to deliver the new homes Londoners desperately need.
